Bengaluru: Domestic handset-maker Karbonn on Thursday launched a new budget smartphone - the Aura 9 - at a price of Rs.6,999.
The smartphone comes with a 5-inch big IPS-LCD screen, 4,000 mAh battery along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory expandable to 32GB. The device will have a eight-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a five-megapixel front camera.
"Aura 9 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with Smart Gesture Control for quick access to the appications on the phone even when the phone is locked. Aura 9 delivers a lag free browsing experience with support for 21 Indian languages," the company said in a release.
