New Delhi, Sept 7: iPhone owners are the happiest among smartphone customers, says a new survey results from J.D. Power and Associates. This is for the eighth time in a row that Apple's flagship phone was adjudged the top smartphone in terms of customer satisfaction. The iPhone scored 839 out of 1,000.
The phone did well in all of the factors measured by the survey like performance, ease of operation, features, and physical design.
HTC took second place with a score of 790, followed by Samsung with 782 and Motorola with 777.
Out of those surveyed, 67 per cent said they have download social media apps and spend more than 100 minutes per week using them. Moreover, 69 per cent told they've downloaded games and spend 81 minutes per week on average on them.
The study becomes even more important given that Apple is believed to be launching the new iPhone 5 in just a week's time. The new phone is expected to come with new design, larger touchscreen and the inclusion of 4G LTE connectivity.
