New Delhi: Indian smartphone vendor Intex has launched an entry-level phone, the Intex Aqua 4X, at Rs 2999. The phone will be sold under an exclusive tie-up with eBay and the online retailer will be shipping it free across the country.
The Aqua 4X comes with a 4-inch display and is powered by Google's operating system Android. It is a dual-SIM device that offers 256MB of RAM, 512MB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, and 3G support.
Intex has also included 2MP rear camera and VGA front camera on the smartphone.
“The Aqua 4X will be the lowest priced 3G phone in a 4-inch category, making it a pertinent phone for consumers across all age groups,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, who is Intex's business head for mobiles.
The phone has a 1,300 mAh battery.
