Mumbai: The high-end smartphone segment in India is buzzing with lots of activities as buyers are always on the lookout for the most well-rounded smartphone that money can buy. The latest player to enter in this arena is Intex which recently launched its new smartphone Aqua i7 with 5 inch HD display for Rs 21,900. The smartphone was launched in Mumbai by Farhan Akhtar, the brand ambassador for its mobile division.
The Intex Aqua HD comes with a 4.7-inch capacitive touch panel that delivers 720x1280pixels image resolution. It measures 137.5mm x 67.4mm x 7.9mm and weighs 133 grams.
The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor along with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It is dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone that runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The smartphone comes with a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front camera for video chatting.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ aGPS and 3G. The smartphone has an 1800mAh battery which can deliver up to 5 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time. The Intex Aqua HD features a number of sensors that include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, light sensor and gyroscope.
The Aqua HD comes with a 1,800mAh battery which promises talktime of up to five to six hours and standby time of 300 hours.

The smartphone comes with an interesting 'look away' feature that pauses the video when you move your vision away from the screen. It has 15 free pre-loaded apps like Hungama, Matrabhasa, Online Software Update and more.
The Aqua i7 will be available in white and black , and will come with free accessories including a flip cover and screen guard.
There will be a limited edition of this phone, which will come with Farhan Akhtar's autographed pen and keychain with it.
