New Delhi: Intex has launched a new budget smartphone, the Intex Aqua Y2 Remote, that comes with Universal Remote feature.
Aqua Power HD comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. The handset offers 4GB of built-in storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The highlight of the device is that it has been equipped with an IR blaster, which lets you configure the phone as a remote to control multiple devices including TV, set-top box, DVD player and more without even touching their dedicated remote controls.
This handset comes pre-installed with the ZaZa Remote app that allows you to enter the model number of a particular product so that it can deliver the exact controls for it.
The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
The phone offers a 5MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 2MP camera on the front. The device is fueled by a 1500mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and FM radio.
It is available in three colours - grey, black and white and is available across major retail and e-commerce sites in India.
