New Delhi: Intex has launched a new mid-range smartphone, the Intex Aqua Power, at Rs 8,444. The highlight of the smartphone is its gigantic battery of 4000mAh battery size, which is rated to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time.
Intex Aqua Power features a 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MTK6592M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.
Inbuilt storage includes 8GB, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The smartphone's rear camera features Panorama shot, face beauty, live photo mode, smile shot, HDR, voice capture, face detection options.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It measures 141x71.9x9.3mm.
Intex Aqua Power will be available in Black, Blue, Grey, and White colour variants, and competes against the likes of Lenovo P780, Micromax Canvas Power, Lenovo S860, Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro, and Xolo Q3000.
