New Delhi: Instagram has announced that users can now edit of their pictures after posting them.
This means that users can now edit misspelt captions without having to delete the photo and re-upload it entirely. The update also allows for an edit on location.
Recently, Instagram released iOS version 6.2 to the App Store and Android version 6.10 to the Google Play Store with new ways to edit locations and captions, search users and hashtags and find people to follow.
Another useful tweak to the Instagram apps is in form of a renovated Explore tab that now has a new magnifying-glass icon. Explore tab makes it faster to find people you want to follow. The tab is split into two sides, one for photos and one for people.
“In this update, we're continuing to improve the Explore page on Instagram by making it faster to find people you want to follow. With this in mind, you'll see that the Explore icon at the bottom of your screen has changed to a magnifying glass. When you open Explore, you'll now see two tabs: Photos and People. The Photos tab has not changed. It contains the same scrolling grid of photos and videos you already know. The new People tab highlights interesting accounts for you to discover,” the company said.
