New Delhi, Jan 11: India's No.2 software services provider, posted a stronger-than-expected quarterly profit at Rs 2,369 crore, against an estimate of Rs 2,244 crore.
The company reported a sequential revenue growth of 5.7 per cent to Rs 10,424 crore in rupee terms which includes revenues from the purchase of Switzerland-based consulting firm Lodestone.
Infosys, whose customers include Bank of America Corp and BT Group, revised its full year dollar guidance upwards at $7.45 billion which is better than $7.34 billion projected by the management earlier.
The company reported outsourcing deals worth $ 731 million of the total contract value. The IT major has made a gross addition of 7,499 employees (net addition of 977) for the quarter by Infosys and its subsidiaries.
