New Delhi, March 14: Inflation based on wholesale price index (WPI) rose to 6.84 percent in February as against 6.62 percent in the previous month.
Retail inflation was recorded at 10.91 percent in February -- remaining in the double-digit terrain for third month in a row -- on account of higher prices of vegetables, edible oil, cereals and protein-based items.
The reading for December was revised up to 7.31 percent from 7.18 percent, government data also showed on Thursday.
