New Delhi: Idea Cellular has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Idea Ultra. The Ultra smartphone is compatible with 3G and dual-SIM and is available across all its 3G circles for Rs 10,500.
The handset comes with a 5-inch IPS display offering a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, with a pixel density of 196 ppi.
The phablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and comes with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.1 OS.
The phone packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing shooter. The handset has 4GB of internal memory (1.9 GB user memory) which can be further expanded up to 32GB with a MicroSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It also offers a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with dual standby.
Other features include sensors like proximity sensor, light sensor and G-sensor, and a 2000mAh battery.
The company is also offering an additional benefit to those users who chose to buy this phone with a special 3G data pack. With this pack costing from Rs 259 to Rs 261 as per the circle, subscribers will get 3GB of free 3G data and free Idea TV subscription for 3 months from the date of activation.
The phone would be available from its own retail and service outlets across major 3G markets in Maharashtra and Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Gujarat, UP and Haryana.
