New Delhi: iBall has tied up with Bansal Classes to launch a new Edu-Slide tablet meant especially for IIT-JEE candidates. The tablet comes pre-loaded with educational content to help students prepare for the Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination.
The pre-loaded content includes a master problem package, eBooks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with personalization tools and more. Apart from IIT-JEE, it also includes over 200 hours of audio/video content for 11th and 12th class.
The tablet uses a patent-pending technology called Sigrid Notes to offers students a classroom experience using audio and visuals.
The company has launched two new devices – the Wi-Fi capable Edu-Slide i1017 and the 3G enabled Q1035. They are priced at Rs 31,999 and Rs 36,999.
Edu-Slide tablet packs a 10.1-inch display with 1280x1024p SXGA resolution, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 8GB of storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, and 8000 mAh battery. While the Wi-Fi version is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core cortex A9 processor, the 3G version comes with a quad-core processor (no word on clock speed or anything else).
