Noida, Sep 30: Appu Ghar, the well-known landmark in Delhi before it was closed down in 2008, will now find a home in Gurgaon.
International Amusement Limited today announced the Gurgaon Appu Ghar plan at a press conference held at Noida today.
It said that on October 2, it will hold a bhoomi pujan ceremony at the new site of Appu Ghar at Sector 29, Gurgaon. Built over 68-acre land, the amusement park will be completed in 2 years.
The new Appu Ghar will be spread over a bigger area than its previous location on 18 acres of land in New Delhi. A Mall on 2.5 acre land is also projected to be developed near the amusement park.
Gian Vijeshwar, Chairman IAL, popularly regarded as the ‘Father of Indian Amusement Industry' made the announcement in presence of Robin Vijeshwar, Managing Director, IAL and Ms. Benu Sehgal, Director, IAL. PTI
