New Delhi: Hyundai India is now offering the automatic version of its Grand i10 hatchback for Rs. 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The new model will be available in two trims: Sportz and Asta. While Sportz Automatic version will cost Rs 5.73 lakh, the Asta variant comes at a cost of Rs 5.95 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).
The company recently discontinued sales of the i10 automatic, in anticipation of the launch of the Grand i10 automatic.
Hyundai i10 Sportz AT has received various updates in the form of an integrated 2-DIN music system, power windows, electric outer rear view mirrors and power steering, reverse parking sensors, push-start button and tilt steering. Similarly, the Asta will come with additional equipment like rear defogger, Bluetooth and alloy wheels.
The engine specification of the petrol version remains the same: Grand i10 comes equipped with a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder Kappa engine, which has the potential to churn out maximum power of 82bhp with 115 Nm of peak torque.
Reports suggest that the South Korean auto maker will also be soon launching the diesel version of Grand i10 with an automatic transmission option.
The Grand i10, the most talked about cars from the South Korean auto maker, was launched in September 2013 and till date the model has received phenomenal demand in the Indian market.
For Hyundai Motor India, 2013 also appears to be an encouraging year with the company achieving its highest-ever market share in the domestic market, crossing 20.3% in September.
