New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has said its newly launched Hyundai Grand i10 compact car, has received over 110,000 enquiries and over 10,000 bookings within 20 days. The company said such numbers clearly indicates that the Grand i10 has been well accepted by customers as a value proposition.
Hyundai India also claims a 55 per cent rise in footfalls at dealerships across all regions and that the car has received over 70,000 test drive requests.
The Grand i10 comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is the 85PS 1.2-litre Kappa2 Dual VTVT. The diesel engine is a new 1.1-litre three-cylinder U2 CRDi engine that delivers 71PS. It comes with just a 5-speed manual transmission option, but the company is also planning to launch a 4-speed auto transmission option for the petrol version.
Prominent features of Hyundai Grand i10 include rear aircon vents, 2-DIN audio system with in-built memory, diamond-cut alloy wheels, two-tone design, smart key with start-stop push button, bluetooth connectivity, multi-functioning steering wheel with bluetooth, audio and trip meter controls, auto OVRMs with integrated indicators, rear parking sensors and cooled glove box.

The Grand i10′s new U2 CRDi diesel engine claims to deliver an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 24 kmpl. The petrol variant has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 18.9 kmpl.
