New Delhi: Huawei has launched Honor 6 smartphone in India at Rs 19,999. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting October 6.
At the same time, the company also launched its new tablet, the MediaPad Honor T1, at Rs 9,999. The MediaPad Honor T1 will, go on sale starting October 10.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) device featuring a 5-inch JDI full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) in-cell display, translating to a pixel density of 445ppi. The handset is powered by a Huawei Kirin 920 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The company had detailed at global launch that the Honor 6 utilises the Big.LITTLE architecture with 4xA15 1.7GHz + 4xA7 1.3GHz.
Initially unveiled for the Chinese market, the Huawei Honor 6 runs the recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with the company's Emotion UI 2.3.
For images, the device offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, BSI sensor, and f2.0 aperture while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with a 3,100mAh battery. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion 2.3 UI.
The smartphone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded via microSD card. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity options. The Honor 6 is backed by a 3100mAh battery.
