New Delhi: Huawei has launched the Honor 6 Extreme Edition at an event in Beijing, China. The company said there will be only 9,999 units of the Honor 6 Extreme Edition.
Pre-orders for the Honor 6 Extreme Edition will start from October 21, and the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 29,900). There is no information of about global availability of the smartphone.
The device features 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by Huawei's Kirin 928 SoC clocked at 2GHz and is coupled with Mali T628MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It also offers LTE-A Cat.6 connectivity.
Honor 6 Extreme edition has a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and has a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The smartphone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and 32GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).
The battery size has been marginally increased by Huawei to 3100mAh instead of 3000mAh on the Honor 6. It also comes with some accessories specially designed for the Honor 6 Extreme Edition, such as 0.2mm tempered glass screen protector, headphones, two NFC tags and a limited edition "Road and force" protective shell.
