New Delhi: After loads of leaks and rumours, HTC has quietly listed the One E9+ smartphone on its website in China. However, the launch date or price for the new handset is not yet clear.
HTC One E9+ is a dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone that features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6795M processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device comes with 16 GB of expandable storage.
It runs the 'latest Android OS with HTC Sense out-of-the-box', tipping Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI.
The handset sports a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a front UltraPixel (f/2.0) camera with a BSI sensor that's presumably a 4-megapixel offering. The 16GB internal storage can be expanded by microSD card (up to 128GB).
Connectivity options include 4G (FDD and TD-LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS and NFC. The device measures 156.5x76.5x7.49mm, weighs 150 grams, and sports a 2800mAh battery. It also features stereo front-facing BoomSound speakers.
On Friday, the tipster @upleaks had also published the press render images of the One E9+, which match those on the HTC China site, followed by press images of the One E9 on Sunday, which visibly feature a smaller rear camera lens.
The One E9+ will be offered in meteor grey, gold sepia, and classic rose gold two-tone colour options.
