New Delhi: New Delhi: HTC has quietly launched the dual SIM variant of its flagship phone - HTC One in partnership in association with Tata Docomo.

HTC One dual SIM s the first Android smartphone in India to offer CDMA and UMTS dual SIM capability allowing consumers to use either a CDMA or a UMTS/GSM SIM card as the primary SIM.

The Taiwanese company said the new smartphone is exactly similar to the original device, except that a microSD expansion slot has been carved out in the new variant's chassis for enabling prospective customers to increase the storage capacity by up to 64GB. The smartphone comes in glacial silver and stealth black shades.

Meanwhile, Tata Docomo is launching special offers for its prepaid and postpaid customers.

The HTC One dual SIM features a 4.7-inch screen with full-HD display that offers a pixel density of 468 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2GB of RAM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Infrared and micro-USB.

The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean topped with Sense 5 UI. It has a 2,300 mAh battery.

Overall, the only difference from the single SIM variant is that this model has up to 64GB expandable memory support in addition to 32GB of internal storage.

The handset comes with an UltraPixel camera, with video highlights and Zoe camera features. It also automatically creates integrated highlight films from each event and adds transitions and effects. These highlight videos can be remixed or set to different themes, and can be easily shared on social networks, email and other services.

The smartphone is also equipped with BoomSound and Beats Audio for a better acoustic experience.

The HTC One Dual SIM+ has been priced at Rs 53,590 and Flipkart is selling the dual SIM variant for Rs 46,257.

HTC which launched the device globally in April had delayed its launch across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific including India due to shortage of several key components.
