New Delhi, Oct 12: HTC's Desire X Android smartphone, which was unveiled by the Taiwanese company back in the month of August this year, is now available for the Indian customers for Rs 19,799.
The device at present is available only through Snapdeal.com but is expected to be made available through retail stores as well in the days.
The Desire X is a mid range Android smartphone that features the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon Play 1 GHz dual core processor. Built around the design specifications of the HTC One X, the HTC desire X features a 4 inch S (Super) LCD display with 480x800 pixel resolution and has a sleek 9.69 mm body.
Desire X features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4 user interface. But the icing on the cake is that the device will get upgraded to Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system as well in the days to come.
HTC has added a dual-core, MSM8225 1 GHz processor from the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 'Play' range with a 768 MB RAM for better and smooth functioning. Along with that the device features a 4 GB on-board storage which can be further extended for another additional 32 GB with the help of Micro SD cards.
The HTC Desire X features a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and an LED flash. But its video recording capabilities are limited to just 480p videos along with that the burst shot mode is only capable of taking 2 shots.
The HTC Desire X smartphone also feature Beats Audio enhancement for listening pleasure and houses a 1650 mAh non-removable battery for providing the required power to the device.
