New Delhi, March 14: Hewlett Packard, HP, has launched its first ever 10.1 inch, Windows 8 Pro operating system based, Elitepad 900 tablet priced at Rs 43,500 in India.
HP Elitepad 900 tablet comes with a 9.2 mm thick shell that makes it both good looking as well as easy to carry around and weighs 630 gram. The tablet utilises CNC machines aluminum casing and its display is protected by Corning Gorilla glass 2.
Elitepad 900 comes with a 10.1 inch display carrying a 1280 x800 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Intel Atom dual core processor and gets 2GB of RAM for better application execution and multitasking.
On the camera front, HP Elitepad 900 has an 8MP rear camera with full HD 1080 p video recording capability and LED flash for illumination. Along with that there is a front facing camera also capable of recording 1080p videos as well.
The tablet is available in 32GB and 64GB variants and along with that the battery pack that company claims will offers up to eight hours of backup. HP has also made available an expanded battery pack that can be used to extend the backup of the HP Elitepad for up to 19 hours.
Price of 62 GB variant of HP Elitepad 900 is Rs 52,490.
