New Delhi: Google on November 14 celebrated Children's Day by displaying an attractive doodle titled "Sky's The Limit for Indian Women" on its homepage.

 




The doodle was designed by Gayatri Ketharaman, a 15-year-old student of class 10 at the Bishop's Co-Ed School in Pune. Ketharaman has been an active participator in the contest for the last four years.

Google organizes an annual competition for students of 1-10 grade who are invited to design the Google Doodle to celebrate Children s Day. Doodles are basically an innovative design or animation that made to the search engine giant's logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists.
 
During the competition, the company received over 1.5 lakh entries, from more than 1,500 schools across 100 cities. The final 12 doodles were shortlisted and put up for online voting.
 
All the finalists will receive a Google Goodie bag and an Acer C720 Chromebook.
