New Delhi, May 13: Google's free email service Gmail suffered a partial outage on Monday across India, Middle East and Southeast Asia. Many users encountered the 502 error, which was later confirmed as a service disruption by the internet search giant via its Apps Status Dashboard.
"We're investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly. Users are receiving an error with number 502," Google said in a communique.
Google soon fixed the error and allowed Gmail for other users. Last week too, Gmail suffered the same problem which Google later fixed.
