New Delhi, May 21: Chinese handset maker Gionee has debuted its ELIFE series of smartphones and the first device under this brand will be the E3.
The E3 features a 4.7-inch IPS HD display. It comes with 16 GB of memory on board. It is a quad-core smartphone, and has an 8 megapxiel rear camera with auto focus and a front 2 megapixel camera.
Looking at the picture releases, it looks like that the E3 has been built using plastic or polycarbonate and offers color options that is akin to the Nokia Lumia range of smartphones. The new smartphones will compete in the affordable quad-core segment, where the the likes of Micromax Canvas HD and Karbonn Titanium S5 have already made a mark.
The phone runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. The E3 is available in red, blue, graphite black and white. The phone is priced at Rs 14,999.
The phone comes packed with a 1800 mAh battery and is 7.9mm thick. This dual SIM phone is available in stores.
