New Delhi: Gionee has launched two new LTE-enabled smartphones in India - the Gionee Pioneer P5L and Gionee CTRL V6L, at Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000 respectively. The smartphones are compatible with India's 4G LTE frequencies.
Gionee Pioneer P5L is a dual-SIM smartphone that features a 4.7-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with an ARM Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 128GB).
Gionee Pioneer P5L comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and has a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (compatible with India's 4G bands), 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone packs an 1800mAh battery.
The Gionee CTRL V6L comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It supports dual-SIM with standby and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
Gionee CTRL V6L offers 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 128GB). On the imaging front, the device offers 8-megapixel back camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone packs a 1950mAh battery.
