Ahmedabad : Sterile injectables manufacturer Claris Lifesciences yesterday reported a 43.65 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 18.2 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, due to forex account adjustments.
The company had reported a profit of Rs 32.30 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. The company follows January-December fiscal year.
However, the turnover was marginally up by 3.74 per cent to Rs 202.20 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 194.90 crore in the same period of previous fiscal.
The company got approvals for 42 product registrations, of which eight have been received in the regulated markets, the statement said.
Out of 42, eight have been received in regulated markets, including two in the US, it said. The company also commercialised 58 products across 24 countries in the international market.
It has finalised product development plan for 31 products, of which 20 are targeted for US & European Union.
