Skoda had luck on its side more than any other automaker with the company emerging unscathed from the ban with its primary models including Superb, Octavia and Yeti escaping the ban by a very short margin.
Skoda Yeti, Superb, and Octavia have an engine capacity of 1968cc while Skoda Rapid comes with a displacement of 1498cc, from which the company will remain safe and continue to sell cars without any issues in the near future.
4.BMW 1, 3, 5, X1 and X3 Series – Engine Displacement 1995cc
BMW escaped the ban by a miniscule 5cc with its popular models including BMW 1 Series, BWM 3 Series, BMW 5, BMW X1 and BMW X3 running on a engine of capacity 1995cc.
However, the company did get the brunt for a few of its cars including the 2993cc engine displacement featuring BMW X3 and BMW 5 Series.
5.Audi A3, A4, and A6 – Engine Displacement 1968cc
It was only Audi A8 that faced the heat of the Supreme Court Ban with the vehicle garnering a 6000cc engine. However, other popular and not to mention successful models including A3, A4 and A6 survived with each of the sedans running on an engine of displacement 1968cc.
The survival of sedan line up definitely saves the legendary automaker from an embarrassing few months of no sales.
