New Delhi: Get set for another Galaxy adventure. Samsung is all set to launch yet another smartphone Galaxy S Duos 2 at Rs 11,230 in India. It was revealed in a tweet by retailer Manish Khatri.
Khatri writes, "#Samsung New launch: Galaxy S Duos 2: MRP Rs. 11,230 Best buy price Rs. 10990/-(stocks in few days)." The tweet however does not mention the exact price of the smartphone. The tweet was first spotted by Android OS blog.
As per the leaked specifications, Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is a dual-SIM phone that comes with with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 768 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and support microSD card.
The device features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1,55mAh battery. The handset is likely to run on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean instead of Android 4.0 ICS on its predecessor. It may also include features like Multi-Window, which is usually seen on the company's mid-range and higher end smartphones and tablets.
It is likely that this device will be exclusive to emerging markets only, where substantial demand for dual-SIM smartphones exists.
Samsung had recently announced the Galaxy Grand 2 and is also expected to launch the successor of Galaxy Grand Quattro.
