New Delhi: The Oppo R1, a slim, dual-SIM phone, went official late last year with a MediaTek chipset, has received Tenaa (the Chinese wireless authority) certification for its Snapdragon version.
The device is expected to come with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor and will offer the same 5-inch HD display. It would run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Oppo's own Color ROM on top. The smartphone will have an upgraded 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The R1S is similar to Oppo R1 and is expected to come in black and white colors. It would come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, but the battery capacity is not available yet.
