New Delhi: Nokia has taken the wraps off its latest flagship smartphone - the Lumia 930. It's basically the international sibling of the Verizon-exclusive Nokia Lumia Icon. Here's the Lumia 930 in images: The Lumia 930 will launch this June starting with Europe for around $599, and it'll be available in a variety of colors. The device won't launch in the U.S., where the company will focus on other handsets, including the Lumia Icon.The device measures 137 x 71 x 9.8mm and weighs 167 grams. The display is a 5” super sensitive ClearBlack AMOLED unit with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and pixel density of 441ppi. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It provides wide viewing angles, and fits comfortably within the 930's bezels. The display also has Nokia's stellar ClearBlack which makes the device exceptionally viewable in bright sunlight.The Nokia Lumia 930 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with 2.2GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in, non-expandable memory on board.The main camera of the Nokia Lumia 930 is a 20MP PureView unit with 1/2.5” BSI sensor, f/2.4, OIS, and a dual-LED flash. It is capable of capturing 1080p videos @ 30 fps.Like its Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1020 siblings, the Nokia Lumia 930 can capture full resolution photos, as well as scaled-down, high-quality 5MP images for easier sharing. The device comes with a host of preloaded software such as Nokia Camera, Creative Studio, Cinemagraph, to enhance the camera experience.Connectivity of the smartphone includes Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and USB 2.0. The phone will work with a nano-SIM card. The Lumia 930 has FM radio too.The device is powered by a 2,420mAh battery and offers Qi wireless charging capability.Nokia has made it clear that all Nokia Lumia phones would be getting Windows Phone 8.1 this summer, which matches the timing for this release. Windows Phone 8.1 introduces more details at-a-glance through Live Tiles, one easy swipe to important notifications with Action Center, faster ways to connect and type with Word Flow and, starting in the US, a personal and proactive virtual assistant called Cortana. In addition, the Windows Phone 8.1 enterprise pack means existing Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices will become better business phones. The imaging upgrades include enhancements to the camera roll and Creative Studio, as well as an improved Nokia Storyteller app, for sharing stories as a video slideshow on social networks.
