Specs wise, the Moto G Forte will come with a 4.5-inch 720p screen, quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory.
Earlier, Motorola tasted huge success with its Moto G budget Android smartphone, which it believed was largely due to the value-for-money proposition. The company also says that its decision to go to market with an only-online presence, via a single exclusive partner in Flipkart, helped it to reach a big part of India very quickly.
In India, the 16 GB variant of Moto G is priced at Rs.13,999 and the 8GB at Rs 12,499 on Flipkart. Following Moto G, Motorola introduced Moto X in India on On March 19, again exclusively on Flipkart, priced between Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999.
Also during the same month, the company jumped onto the wearable bandwagon with the launch of its first smartwatch, the Moto 360. The Moto 360 smartwatch runs Google's Android Wear, a software project that extends Android to wearables.
