New Delhi: Motorola has quietly listed the new Moto G Forte on its Mexican website. As of now, there is no word on the pricing and availability details of the Moto G Forte.
Strikingly, there is no difference between the Moto G Forte and the vanilla Moto G, except that the former packs a Motorola rugged Grip Shell out-of-the-box. The grip case can be purchased for $14.99 in the market.
The Motorola Moto G Forte comes with a 4.5-inch HD 'edge-to-edge' (for a supposed better touch experience) display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels (translating to a pixel density of 329ppi) having Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The device is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (Cortex-A7) processor coupled with an Adreno 305 GPU. It offers 1 GB or RAM and offers 8GB of inbuilt storage. The Moto G sports a 5-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash and also includes a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera supports HD (720p) video recording.
The Moto G Forte packs a 2070mAh battery, which the official site claims can deliver up to 24 hours of mixed use.
Motorola Moto G has been a huge hit in India and its India launch has been said to be the most successful for a Motorola phone ever. Following that success, Motorola launched the Moto X in India, starting at Rs 23,999.
