New Delhi: Micromax Canvas Knight, which was launched in Russia some time back, is all set to hit Indian markets very soon. This is Micromax's first Octa core handset and is likely to be priced around Rs 20,000.
"Can redefine limits! Get ready to redefine the standards for performance! Stay tuned," Micromax wrote on its Twitter page.
The Canvas Knight comes with a 5-inch full—HD screen that offers resolution of 1920 x 1080p megapixels. The device is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Octa core processor running Android 4.2 with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is a 3G handset with a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and gets its juice from a 2350 mAh battery. Other common features like Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth will be included.
Design-wise, the device resembles a lot with the Apple iPhone 4S.
The smartphone will compete against Intex Aqua Octa which comes with a 6-inch HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6592, 2 GB RAM, 13 megapixel camera and 2300 mAh battery.
