New Delhi: LG has launched its L90 smartphone, which will start rolling-out this week in CIS countries followed by other markets around the world. LG has still not disclosed the price of L90.
Announced earlier in MWC in Barcelona, the L90 comes with a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display (960 x 540, 235 ppi), and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Quad-Core (MSM8226) processor, coupled with 1GB RAM.
The device offers 8GB RAM, which can be expanded upto 32GB via Micro SD card. The L90 is equipped with 8MP or 5MP (depending on market) camera with auto-focus, and 1.3 MP front shooter.
The device runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS, and is packed with 2,540 mAh battery.
"With its competitive specs and exquisite design, we expect the L90 to continue the success of the L Series in the global marketplace. It offers the very best of LG in design, hardware, OS and UX features so 3G smartphone users worldwide will be able to enjoy a truly first-class smartphone experience," said Dr Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
The L90 will incorporate Knock Code feature, a refined version of KnockON feature that was first unveiled last year in the LG G2. The feature allows users to turn on and unlock their L90 in one easy step by tapping their screens using one of over 86,000 “knock” combinations.
