New Delhi: This year in June, hmegrown handset maker Karbonn Mobiles will become dual-OS device manufacturer, meaning the company will now offer devices running both Windows Phone and Android, thanks to its partnership with Microsoft. The fast growing mobile maker is estimating its revenue at Rs 4,500 crore, against Rs 2,297 crore in 2012-13.
Beginning a new trend in terms of offering high-end specs at an affordable price and extending its reach in the domestic market, the company recently launched a slew of performance-packed smartphones running Android Kit Kat operating system. One such phone is called Karbonn Titanium Octane which has a 5-inch IPS touchscreen. Specifications include Mediatek's Octa core 1.7 GHz CPU, 16 GB internal storage with the ability to expand it upto 32 GB, 13 MP rear camera and a 2,000 mAh battery. The phone can be picked up for as low as Rs 14,490.
