New Delhi: 2013 was a big year for technology! During the year we saw specs-rich and technologically advanced smartphones, laptops, tablets, hybrids, audio systems, games and cameras each month.
In 2013 we saw the launch of iPhone 5S, one of the first phones to be powered by a 64-bit processor, the iPhone 5S comes with a major performance boost, an improved camera, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor for authentication and better battery life. Also, the world's best-selling tablet got slimmer and lighter, with a fresh new design in line with its younger sibling, the iPad mini. Similarly, the HTC One emerged as the answer to the iPhone with its solid aluminium frame and chamfered edges.
Amazon too came out with its new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet features an 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels resolution and pixel density of 339ppi leaving behind the iPad Air. Similarly, we also saw the launch of LG G Flex, one of the first curved display smartphones featuring a 6-inch display that curves from the top to bottom. LG also launched its flagship Android smartphone, the G2, that featured an almost bezel-free full-HD display panel.
