New Delhi: Domestic handset maker Intex has launched an entry-level smartphone, the Y12, at Rs Rs 5,390. It is available through retail stores as well as Intex stores.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone Y12 that comes with a 3-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution.
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core MediaTek processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The device offers 1.7GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card slot. On the camera-front, the Cloud Y12 gets a lowly 2MP rear snapper and a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G and Wi-Fi. The device also gets GPS with A-GPS support.
Overall, the specs of the Y12 appear to be better than the X12 that is priced at Rs 4,290.
The device gets its juice from a 2000 mAh battery that promises up to 5 hours to talk time and 180 hours of standby time.
The Y12 comes pre-loaded with games list includes Angry Gorilla, Chennai Express, Thunder Fighter HD and Zombie Quest. It is available in blue, white, red and black colors.
