New Delhi: After tasting success with its Auxus Nuclea N1 smartphone, iBerry is again testing the waters with the second version, the Auxus Nuclea N2. The smartphone is up for pre-orders and interested users can book their units for a discounted rate of Rs 19,990 against its original price is Rs 23,990. The company's eStore states that it will start shipping on February 3.
The star attraction about the Nuclea N2 is its its octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor that ticks at 1.7GHz to allow users to do efficient multitasking. Nuclea N2 supports both micro SIM and a regular SIM on its respective dual SIM slot. It offers 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 64GB using MicroSD card.
The device also comes with a huge 5.7-inch IPS OGS touchscreen of full HD 1080p resolution. The display technology used on Nuclea N2 is the same that was used on its predecessor - Active Matrix Display with OGS technology together, which has received raving response in the market. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that requires one micro-SIM card and one of a regular size.
It offers a 13MP rear snapper with LED flash along with an 8MP front camera for high quality selfies and video conferencing over 3G or Wi-Fi. It also comes with NFC and even supports wireless charging – a first by Indian brand.
The smartphone uses a 3000mAh battery which is enough to provide juice for an entire day.
"Consumers can also purchase the smartphone from the company's official website using credit card, debit card and online bank transfer of major banks," said the company release.
The phone runs Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but according to the company it will get Android version 4.4 KitKat by the end of the first quarter.
Connectivity options include NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, GPS/AGPS and 3G.
The phone will be priced at Rs 19,990 for only a limited period of 10 days, starting January 18, 2013.
