New Delhi: iBall has launched a new tablet under its Slide tablet portfolio, called the iBall Slide 3G 1026-Q18, at Rs. 12,999. The tablet is listed on the company website and at a discounted price of Rs 11,015 from an e-commerce website.
It is a dual-SIM tablet that comes with a display of WSVGA (1024x600 pixel) resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor (unspecified) coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM, and features 8GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card (up to 32GB) support.
It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The tablet offers a 5-megapixel rear camera (with LED flash) and a 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (as per the eBay listing), USB OTG, FM radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. The tablet supports 3G connectivity on both SIM cards.
To use the tablet's voice-calling function users need a handsfree as there is no build-in microphone. It is backed by a 4600mAh battery and comes in White colour variant. There is no word on the tablet's dimensions and weight.
