New Delhi: Visitors to Bangalore's commercial hubs: MG Road and Brigade Road and four other locations in the city can now enjoy free wireless Internet connectivity beginning January 24. Called ‘Namma Wifi', it is the first of its kind service in the country. It was formally launched near Metro station on M.G. Road.
The government has tied up with D-VoiS, a private internet service provider, to execute the project, and the bills will be footed by the State.
