Hero Motocorp HasturHero Motocorp, the world's largest two-wheeler maker by volume, unveiled its aggressively styled streetfighter design, the Hastur. The bike packs an over-square parallel twin, liquid-cooled, four-stroke 620 cc engine developing 80 PS at 9,600 rpm and 72 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The company has used bright yellow trellis chassis which utilizes the engine as a stress member for optimum mass centralisation. Hero claims to have used advanced technology to make the bike fuel efficient and low on emissions. Other features include twin projector beam headlights with LED running lights, integrated LED winkers and LED taillight and cylinder head with controlled swirl injection (CSI) technology.
