Greater Noida: Honda Cars India today unveiled its much-awaited MPV Honda Mobilio and the new 3rd generation Honda Jazz at the 12th Auto Expo 2014. Both cars will be launched in the Indian market during 2014-15.
Based on Honda's popular Brio hatchback platform, the new Mobilio MPV has a sporty look and feel to it. From the front, it resembles to the Amaze sedan due to its horizontal slat chrome grille and other styling elements. Other styling features include new headlights, aggressive hood, oval fog lamps with black plastic casing. Mobilio carries the sharp lines from the Brio which gives it a sporty character; something new for an MPV in India.
The side profile looks a lot similar to the Amaze. However, the real change starts from the B-pillar where the body style transforms into an MPV. Honda has also revamped to the rear portion by giving new tail lamps cluster and rear windscreen. This makes the MPV look quite premium.
The wheelbase of MPV is increased by 245mm, which is now measured around 2650mm.
