New Delhi: German luxury automobile manufacturing company has launched an updated version of its diesel-powered BMW 3 Series sedan in India.
The petrol variant will be launched later this year, BMW India said in a statement.
According to the Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India, BMW 3 Series will set a new benchmark in automobiles industry through its dynamic characteristics and attractive design.
"Forty years ago, the BMW 3 Series established the modern sports sedan segment and is the world's most widely sold premium vehicle. The new BMW 3 Series will continue to lead this legacy with its sporty design, powerful performance and unmatched efficiency. With its everyday usability, dynamic characteristics and attractive design, the new BMW 3 Series will establish a new benchmark in the Indian luxury car segment," said Philipp.
The luxury vehicle also consists of various advanced features like on-board driver information system, park distance control, brake-energy regeneration and electronic power steering among others.
The all India ex-showroom prices for diesel variants are as follows -
BMW 320d Prestige : INR 35, 90,000
BMW 320d Sport Line (Navigation) : INR 41, 50,000
BMW 320d Luxury Line (Navigation) : INR 41, 50,000
BMW 320d M Sport : INR 44, 50,000
Design
BMW 3 series has such an eye-catching design that can have a striking presence on the road. Its size consisting of a long bonnet and set-back passenger compartment creates an extremely dynamic design. The car also has a sporting appearance with well-adjusted LED headlights and LED fog lamps.
The rear lights are arranged in an L shape, providing greater dynamic presence to the rear end of the car even when it is stationary.
Interiors
The interior of the BMW 3 Series reflects its elegance. Its signature Cockpit's driver focus orientation provides a sense of optimum access control to the driver. Seats are electronically adjustable for the driver and front seat passenger.
Engine
The powerful BMW has Twin Power Turbo diesel engine, making it sporty in every condition on the road.
Its affluent combination of common rail direct injection and a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry ensures that the new BMW delivers an excellent output of 140kW / 190hp.
