New Delhi: Tata Motors has showcased the Hexa showcased during the New Delhi Auto Expo 2016 in its finished production stage.
The model was launched as a concept last year during the Geneva Motor Show and the production model as some minor modifications.
Some key appealing features of the Hexa include projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, the dual exhaust setup and rugged plastic body cladding. In the interiors, cabin comes with an upscale feel and comes packing a five-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman. Other interior features include a ten-speaker JBL sound system, ambient lighting with eight colors or an eight-way adjustable driver's seat, rearview camera, leather upholstery, cruise control and a wide safety kit including six airbags, ABS with EBD, and vehicle dynamic control.
A turbodiesel 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 154 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. A standard six-speed manual transmission is available along with an optional six-speed automatic gearbox and the model has a traction control system and four driving modes: Automatic, Comfort, Dynamic, Rough Road.
The car will be available at the retail outlets by the second half of this year.
