New Delhi: Arya, an India-based smartphone vendor backed by Salora, has launched a new budget Android KitKat smartphone called the Z2, at Rs 6,999. The smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon India.
The Arya Z2 features a 5-inch display with One Glass Solution, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has an 8-megapixel auto-focus shooter coupled with a Sony BSI sensor and LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System.
Some of the camera features of Z2 includes smile detection, Voice activated Camera Operation and high speed continuous shooting.
The smartphone houses 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Connectiity options include EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and OTG.
The smartphone supports a micro and regular sized SIM with 3G data connectivity on both SIM cards. It is powered by a 1,800mAh battery.
The phone competes against the likes of Motorola Moto E, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, and the recently launched Android One smartphones.
