New Delhi: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) is looking for a way to come up with a mobile app that is likely to let users check their tax account .Users can use this app from anywhere. It's being brought in to make tax filing easier.
Earlier also, CBDT has taken several initiatives earlier also so that tax filling can be made easier and comfortable, which includes e-filing, paying up through net-banking and so on.
According to the sources, CBDT is in the early stages of investigating the idea of the app due to some security reasons. Special care of security is being taken because as of now the tax payers do give out their passwords and other significant information to charted accountants (CA's) and other professionals for filing their taxes on their behalf.
This app will make you able to file your return from anywhere, anytime, and even you will be able to pay through net banking.
