New Delhi: Adidas has launched the miCoach SMART RUN, smartwatch which allows users to monitor heart rate and play music.
The smartwatch, which will be available exclusively on Adidas website, will also allow runners to track their runs using GPS mapping.
The company in a statement said the watch has no sables, straps and additional sensors, rather it uses optical technology to track your heart rate from your wrist. It has an in-built accelerometer that counts every step letting you monitor your stride rate.
The device comes with a 1.45 inch color touch screen display featuring a MP3 player with Bluetooth wireless audio that delivers music and audible coaching guidance to solve problems of flailing headphone cables and music players. The company already offers a miCoach app on smartphones.
Adidas says the smartwatch offers runners the facility of building training plans, transferring workouts and personalizing display information with ease.
The watch is priced at Rs. 24,999 and is exclusively available at shop.adidas.co.in.
