New Delhi: Adcom has launched an entry-level smartphone, the A40 smartphone, in India at Rs 4,500 with a best buy price of Rs 2,999. The smartphone will be available from major outlets across India.
It is a dual-SIM device that features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) LCD display and is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor (unspecified) alongside 256MB of RAM.
It offers 512MB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). The budget smartphone sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and also has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The handset packs a 1650mAh Li-ion battery and measures 126.5x63.5x11.5mm.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM radio, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
