Newton 110 developer versionThis was Apple's first attempt in making a tablet and pocket computer. Long before the iPad, Apple was deeply invested in Newton. The Newton project was only around for a few short years from 1993 to 1998 and then Apple killed funding. This is Newton 110 developer version, also known as the Clear Newton. It was one of just around 100 of the devices made specifically for developers and given out at the 1994 Mac Developers conference. The gadget recognized printed or cursive handwriting, stored notes, and also recognized graphics and the inherent symmetry in objects.
