Xiaomi today unveiled the metal-clad Smartphone Redmi Pro along with its first laptop series Mi Note Air at an event in China.
Pricing of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro starts 1499 Yuan (Rs 15,000 approximately) for the base 32GB model. The 64GB and 128GB models are priced at 1699 Yuan (Rs 17,000 approximately) and 1999Yuan (Rs 20,000 approximately).
The Mi Notebook Air is priced at RMB 4999 (Rs 50,419 approx.). Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air has also launched in a smaller and cheaper version at a price of Yuan 3499, which is around Rs 35,290 on conversion. The two Notebooks will go on sale on Xiaomi’s website on August 2.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro
Redmi Pro features 5.5-inch full HD screen with OLED display, which is said to be more power efficient compared to LCD screen panels.
The new samrtphone boasts camera setup, which allows you to add DSLR-like bokeh effects to your photos due to the secondary depth sensing camera. It features a 13MP primary camera and a secondary 5MP secondary snapper with Samsung sensor to capture the depth of the photographs. There is a 5-megapixel wide-angle front facing camera.
The top end variants are powered by Helio X25 deca-core processor with Mali-T880 GPU. The 64GB variant comes with 3GB of RAM while the 128GB one comes with 4GB of RAM. It also comes with a 4,000mAh battery along with USB Type-C port.
All three variants of Redmi Pro come in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey colour options.
Mi Notebook Air
Xiaomi launched Mi Notebook Air two versions at the event and claims that it is thinner than the Apple MacBook Air. Mi Notebook Air has a 13.3-inch full-HD display and a full metal body. And there is another version with 12.5 inch full HD screen.
Mi Notebook Air’s comes with a HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, a Type-C USB port for charging and 3.5 mm headphone jack and a full-size keyboard. The company claims this keyboard is ultra-thin with 1.3 mm keystroke depth.
The 13.3-inch version of the Mi Notebook Air has an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB PCIe SSD, battery life up to 9.5 hours, AKG and Dolby speakers, and Windows 10 operating system.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch version comes with 12.5 inch full HD screen also gets a slim all-metal body, life time up to 11.5 hours, and runs the Intel Core M3 processor. It has 4GB of RAM + 128GB SATA SSD hard drive, built-in speaker and support for Dolby surround sound.
