New Delhi: Xiaomi has announced its Mi Community in India which is dedicated to all Mi fans in the country. The new community will allow users to share feedback, participate in contests, and also attend the Xiaomi launch events expected to happen very soon.
The Mi Community had launched its beta site on June 14, where some of the selected beta testers were asked for feedback by Xiaomi. But now it is available for all users across India and the company has put out a post inviting registrations for the launch of its Mi Max phablet on June 30. So fans who want to attend the launch event will have to register on or before June 23.
Xiaomi Mi Max was first unveiled in China. Xiaomi Mi Max features a really huge 6.44-inch display. It comes with an all-metal body and is available in dark grey, gold, and silver colour variants. The Mi Max also features a fingerprint scanner that is located at the rear panel. Xiaomi smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32/64GB storage options.
In terms of camera, Xiaomi Mi Max features a 16MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP image sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
It supports WiFi 802.11ac standard and Bluetooth 4.2 low-energy technology, NFC, USB OTG support and FM Radio. The Mi Max is just 7.5 mm thick and still packs a huge 4,850mAh battery.
